The room is so dark, only the flickering fire pot illuminated the darkness. Despite the thunderous roars and blinding lightning, he continued reciting, unwavering. Objects flew and tumbled around him, driven by unseen forces. A chilling sense of presence grew stronger. Determined, he focused on his recitation, knowing he must persist until whatever lurked revealed itself. Jason and his parents arrived at the hotel before dusk, booked their room, then rested in the lounge. They dined at a nearby restaurant where there also have slight rain in the area. Late at night, the oldman having recited for hours. He heard cries and laughter but continued his recitation. In the dark, then in the black ghost appeared, pleading, “Leave me. I promise not to return.” Unmoved, he threw powder on its face. The ghost screamed and vanished, leaving noises. As the rain intensified and the wind howled, a thunderous crash shook the house. He felt a surge of fear but refused to quit. Taking a deep breath, he drank some water and recited his lines with renewed resolve. Trees fell around house, but he remained focused, undisturbed by the chaos outside. Hours later, just before dawn, the ghost reappeared infront of him again. He quickly grabbed a pinch of powder, this time a little more than before, and tossed it into the devil’s face. The devil, sitting menacingly before him, froze instantly, though faint growls escaped its lips. The man seized the moment to interrogate the demon. “Why are you here? Why do you torment that small boy? Why can’t you leave him alone?”The devil’s voice crackled through its frozen visage. “I will kill the boy because he struck me with a heavy stick one night when I rested on a branch of the tree near his home. The same tree he climbs for fun.” Then the old man said, “you should Understand, he’s just a small boy. He may hit you unknowingly, but why seek revenge?” The ghost, hearing this, was punished with fire from the pot. It burned away, turning to fumes and vanishing into the night.
