Mark woke up early and headed to the kitchen, eager for his morning coffee. By the time he got there, Rozy had already finished making it. She handed Mark a cup of coffee with a warm smile, and together, they stepped out onto the veranda. The morning air was fresh, and the view outside was beautiful, setting a peaceful tone for the day.As they sipped their coffee, they began chatting about their plans. Just then, Jason appeared, looking downcast. Noticing his mood, Rozy excused herself to get him a glass of warm milk. Jason, still upset about something that had happened the last night, sat quietly. Sensing his son’s worry, Mark offered some comforting words, encouraging Jason not to dwell on it and reassuring him that everything would be fine.Rozy soon returned with the milk for Jason, then headed back to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. As they waited, Mark turned to Jason and asked about his plans for the day. He gently reminded him to get ready after breakfast so they could visit the old man as planned. Jason nodded, feeling a bit more at ease, and agreed to go. Rozy called Jason and Mark for breakfast. By the time she did, they were already refreshed and ready to eat. The table was set with a hearty spread: Heinz beans, breakfast sausages, slices of back bacon (or Irish bacon), black pudding, halved mushrooms, and small halved tomatoes. There were also slices of bread and perfectly cooked eggs, all served with a refreshing glass of iced tea. The breakfast was delicious, and they enjoyed it together. After breakfast, they all decided to go meet the old man. They walked to the main road, hailed a taxi, and headed to the house where he lived. Once they arrived, they rang the doorbell. An elderly woman, who appeared to be the old man’s mother, opened the door. They asked for him, and she kindly invited them to wait on the sofa in the living room. A few minutes later, the old man entered the room.
