Rozy jolted awake, feeling a sharp blow to her stomach. She opened her eyes to see Jason, broom in hand, rage in his wide, red eyes. As he swung again, she leaped aside, escaping just as he lunged for her. Rozy rushed into Mark’s room, waking him suddenly. Just then, Jason entered with a broom, causing Rozy to shout. Startled, Mark yelled, “What’s going on?” They both turned to see Jason collapse. Mark swiftly moved him to the bed, while Rozy fetched water, hoping to revive him. As the water splashed across Jason’s face, he jolted awake, his eyes fluttering open in confusion. “What happened?” he asked, disoriented and unsure of his surroundings. Rozy, his mother, knelt beside him, concern etched on her face. “You don’t remember, do you?” she replied gently. She took a deep breath, trying to steady her voice. “You’ve been acting strangely… like you weren’t yourself at all.”Jason’s heart sank at her words. The weight of her disappointment hit him hard. “I’m so sorry, Mom,” he whispered, his voice filled with regret. His father, sitting nearby, quickly reassured him. “No, no, baby. It’s not your fault. This was caused by something… sinister.”“Sinister? What do you mean?” Jason asked, his curiosity piqued. With a grave tone, they explained, “The devil came into your body. He made you act that way and then left.” Rozy added, “We need to be very careful now. Tomorrow, we’ll go to the old man again for help.”A chill ran through Jason at the mention of the devil, and fear flickered in his eyes. But he felt comforted by the presence of his parents. They huddled together, a united front against the unknown, and soon they all fell asleep, determined to face whatever challenges lay ahead together. Rozy woke up early in the morning. As she opened her eyes, she glanced around the room to see if anything seemed out of the ordinary. Her eyes fell on the alarm clock on the bedside table; it was almost 7 o’clock. She got out of bed and headed to the bathroom, where everything appeared as normal.Satisfied, she made her way to the kitchen to prepare some coffee before her husband and Jason woke up.
