Rozy quickly brewed coffee for everyone. After sipping their cups, Mark helped the old man catch a taxi. Back home, Jason and his family cleaned while Mark called some people for repairs. Rozy hurried to prepare breakfast as Jason and his dad cleaned. Mark showed maintenance the damage; after ordering supplies, they shared snacks and drinks, they continued their work till evening. As the sun set, Rozy invited everyone for evening tea after cleaning. The maintenance team enjoyed their break before leaving. Mark finally took a shower after the maintenance crew left. Jason, too tired to talk, but he said his mom, please don’t call me. Am going to sleep. But his mom remind him to take shower before bed. Roxy cleaned up and stepped outside for a breather. Mark stepped into the living room and found Roxy on the veranda, weary yet beautiful. “You should take a shower,” he suggested. They talked for an hour until Roxy trembled. “Mark, look!” she whispered, pointing to a dark figure—a fiery red man lurking behind the trees in the garden area. Mark saw a fire-red figure with an angry face and froze. “What was that?” Rozy asked. “The devil is dead,” he replied. “Then what was that?” she questioned, alarmed. Grabbing his hand, they rushed inside, locking the door behind them. After a quick shower, Rozy emerged, and Mark joked, “You need to be in pajamas now.” They headed to the kitchen for dinner, still shaken but trying to find comfort in the ordinary. While Rozy prepared dinner, Mark peeked into Jason’s room. Seeing him asleep, he gently covered him with a blanket. Returning to the kitchen, Mark told Rozy Jason was sleeping. “You’ll sleep in there tonight,” he added. She agreed, and they enjoyed sandwiches and donuts together with ice coffee. After dinner, Rozy entered Jason’s room, leaving Mark in the living room. Exhausted, but she prepared her self for sleep. She slipped under the covers beside him. she closed her eyes, knowing sleep would come easily tonight.
