An hour later, Rozy woke up and began tidying the living room. She picked up and arranged a few items that had been scattered around. After finishing, she made her way to the kitchen to prepare lunch. On her way, she stopped by Jason’s room, gently opening the door to check on him. He was sleeping.Rozy was in the kitchen, busy preparing lunch, when she heard Mark calling her. Wiping her hands on her apron, she stepped out into the living room. Mark was seated on the sofa, looking weary.”Can you bring me a glass of water?” he asked.Rozy noticed the fatigue in his voice and remembered that he hadn’t slept the previous night. Despite his exhaustion, he was still determined to carry on with his work. Without hesitation, she hurried back to the kitchen and quickly brought him a glass of water.Mark drank it in one swift motion and then began to speak. “I’ve hired ten people and paid them in advance. They’ll be here in the evening. We need to prepare tea for them before they start working.” Understanding the urgency, Rozy nodded.Mark and Rozy were deep in discussion about their plan when Jason, having just woken up, entered the room. Seeing him, Rozy suggested they all have lunch together. At the table, Jason told his mother that he only wanted mango juice and some soup. Mark, influenced by Jason’s light choice, decided to have a light meal too, and Rozy followed suit. After finishing his meal, Mark excused himself, took a bath, and he want have some rest. Jason, still feeling a bit uneasy, moved to the living room and lay down on the sofa to relax. Meanwhile, Rozy washed the plates, cleaned the dining table, and headed to her room. When Rozy entered, she found Mark already lying on the bed. He asked her to wake him up before their guests arrived and reminded her to prepare evening tea. After giving these instructions, he closed his eyes to rest.
