“I need a good sleep,” Rozy said. “We haven’t had proper rest for the last two nights.”Mark looked at her and nodded. “Alright, you go get some sleep.Rozy headed to the bedroom, while Mark made his way to the living room. He sat on the sofa, turned on the TV, and started watching a news channel. After some time, Mark felt a heaviness in his head. Unable to resist, he lay down on the sofa. Within minutes, he, too, fell asleep. The house fell silent, except for the faint hum of the TV news channel in the background.Everyone was finally asleep.Elsewhere, the exorcist woke up feeling refreshed after a good sleep. He took a quick shower and told his mother, “I’m going to the nearby restaurant for some food. Don’t wait up for me-I’ll be staying at Mark’s house tonight again.”His mother, concerned, asked about the situation. He explained it briefly before heading out, leaving her to ponder his words in quiet worry.Mark opened his eyes from sleep, blinking away the remnants of his nap. Glancing at the clock on the wall, he realized it was almost 5 p.m. With a slight stretch, he got up from the sofa and headed to the kitchen to make himself a cup of coffee. Cup in hand, he walked out to the veranda, savoring the warm beverage while waiting for the arrival of the group. He wanted to be at the front of the house when the exorcist and their team arrived. The anticipation made the minutes stretch, but soon enough, he spotted the exorcist and another person approaching. Standing to greet them, Mark welcomed them warmly. The exorcist asked about Jason’s condition, and Mark assured him that Jason was fine but still asleep. The exorcist suggested waking Jason up and getting him ready with some food or drink. Mark quickly excused himself and hurried inside.
